One restart is sufficient, consecutive restarts cannot help you more 🙂

But if this doesn't help, then go to the Settings / System / Reset options / Reset Wi-Fi...

Do you have problem only with your wifi router, or with any wifi router in 5GHz band?
What is your wifi router brand?
Have you changed the developer settings on your phone?

Yep I updated just now and I too feel that vowifi isn't stable because although I am connected to the wifi network and sitting near the router still it keeps on fluctuating between vowifi and volte. Hence, I don't think it's a signal strength issue. If at all it's a strength issue then this feature is useless on this phone because you can't be sitting near the router everytime.
I haven't tried calling yet so not sure about the quality.

Hello everybody,

I Just update my Zenfone 6 to this version and I immediately noticed that the phone can't connect to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi of my network. No problem with 2.4 of the same network. Does anybody notice this bug?

I am connected to 5Ghz network no issue till now.

WiFi calling may delay your voice by 2-3 secs, as whatsapp calling does, you won't get real time conversation like normal calling, this is what i noticed!!!
