If you still have Android 9, you must have at least version 194 to update to Android 10, so check it out.

Why not? It is generally considered to be the best way to update (with full 1.9GB update file) and is very simple.

It's strange that they didn't update it for you.
Have they changed the motherboard? Has the IMEI and serial number changed as well?

I agree that it is strange that they did not update at the service centre. It is their duty to hand over the phone to the customer with the latest update, at the same time they test it that everything works as it should.
