Google Photos brightness issue

Has anyone else noticed this? When tapping on a photo in Google photos after about 0.5 seconds the image is automatically brightened up, sometimes I even get the little prompt asking if I want to fix the brightness. However pressing yes or closing the prompt makes no difference.

Essentially, it is a bug in Google Photos, Google knows about it, and it should be fixed if you update your app. Does the update fix the issue for you?

I'm happy to report that the bug has been fixed. Seems like it was as you said, a bug in Google Photos simply. ;D
