FM Recording is Absent in Zenfone 6

Hi you can check under notification drawer the FM radio option is visible.
If not, you can update to Android 10.

Am actually asking about "Recording the FM" not FM itself,
FM works with the current build, but I need built-in 'Recording feature' why it's not in Pie and is that in 10 ?

I don't see an option to record FM in the app even on android 10. Also, in the sound recorder app there is no option to capture the audio output.
One option is to use the screen recorder but it will capture the screen as well, you can extract the audio later.

Try using 'Smart Recorder' app from playstore (Black Icon with Red dot)
It can record FM while playing in earphone or loudspeaker with negligible amount of distortion
