The icon appears in status bar even after turning it off. The solution I found is to disable DND icon but the issue is, sometimes we may need it to show.

Yes. It doesn't work automaticslly or manually.

Tried it here and cannot get this to happen - but it can be a combination of issues.
Does this happen also if you change to use the default font , default everything?
