Can't record PUBG Mobile proper sound

I want to be able to record my PUBG mobile gameplay but if I turn on my microphone on the game for voice chat, the screen recorder doesn't capture any audio at all. It does capture the internal game sounds of I keep my microphone for voice chat closed.

Oneplus lets you do this and I think ROG2 also allows it, is there any way we can have it working on Asus 6Z/Zenfone 6

I know this is the case and I have an ongoing discussion with our devs about fixing it. Still no time frame about when they might have a solution
