Camera cannot flip, proximity sensor issue. In every unlock phone keeps saying pocket mode is on.

Firmware Version: 18.0610.2103.167
Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: Everytime{10-20 times a day} (Started 2 days back, no solution worked)
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Default Camera App, All Video Calling Apps, Default Calling App

My phone is somehow detecting that something is close to the proximity sensor and hence it triggers pocket mode(Refer to Screenshot) when unlocking the phone. It does not allow the camera to flip(Refer to Video). In Every call I have to struggle to turn on screen cuz it keeps it off(I need to wait till other person disconnects call to use my phone). Every video call app fails because the camera can't rotate to front.
I've removed screen protector(tampered glass), removed back cover.
Also I'm able to rotate camera using volume keys so it's only sensor detection issue.
Tried SMMI Test and it is always showing NEAR(Refer to Screenshot).
Issue is same as this below discussion, please help me fast, this is causing a lot of trouble.(Lemme know if you want to Log my phone)

Resetting didn't help at all. I disabled the proximity sensor for calls but still camera issue can't be solved. The camera just doesn't flip. Via an update, Please Remove the proximity sensor dependency to flip the camera, it's logicless and the problems outweigh the benefits in this case.
At least give an option in the next update to manually choose if we want to use the proximity sensor to flip the camera or not. At least this way a useless faulty sensor won't make the whole camera useless.
Also why "Turn off sensors" from developer options doesn't work.
Please tell me how can I mock set the proximity sensor value to FAR ??
Actually, the nearest service centre is 350 KMs away so not possible to visit in covid. So please tell me a way to make my camera flip.
PS: First charger issue then current in phone's body and now the camera is useless. Ruined the whole experience of new phone. Now I see why people prefer popular ones like one plus over bad experience.
