camera app keeps crashing

recently, on trying to click picture, camera app closes on its own & pic is not saved. this happens in 12mp mode. In 48mp mode, on clicking picture, the phone automatically reboots!!!
however, no problems in 9mp mode..
this is definitely a bug... pls resolve asap

Clear storage to Camera app and check again.

What caused Camera to get angry? Did it happen after updating to Android 10, or was it not related to it? Any idea?

i dont think its related to android 10 update.. because it didn't happen immediately after that.
A second update was released earlier this month, i think it happened after that update
