Android 10 bug : Smart key not working after update

After updating to Android 10, smart key feature doesnt seem to work. it worked seemlessly on previous update. I have updated though OTA and factory resetted phone after update.. Any solutions...?

If you have just completed a factory reset, it would be interesting to try the following, downgrade to A9, test Smart key, then update to A10 and see if you can make Smart key functional this way.

I think I reset my phone like 2 to 3 times to get rid of this issue. Try doing this first before you downgrade your phone to A9 method as @_jis_ said. ??????

Factory reset is not a good idea,
Setting the phone again took 2 hours
I will wait for a software update

i am having the same problem. one click on smart key buton selects the first app in the app drawer, and then if i click again it opens it. it acts like a mouse click.

no.. if i kept in default settings without customization, it acts just same. video attached below, this is what happens when i press smart key once..

@Anders_ASUS i am having the same problem, it is started lately. i suspect it is broken after an app update.
