To preserve ZS620KL system performance and stability, kindly access Settings>Display>System color scheme>Dark to switch the Theme setting. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Right now we use same steps to activate dark theme as you described.
but we are requesting ASUS to add Dark Theme Shortcut Toggle in Quick Settings which would be more convinent for users to switch between themes @Christine_ASUS
