Firmware Version:100.10.107.92
Rooted or not: not
Frequency of Occurrence: forever
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): system
Time has come ASUS has started beta testing for 6z as its regular cycle why skip 5z as a flagship i personally feel 5z is best device ASUS has made till date with lesser hardware issues comparing 6z n rog series also 5z is most sold smartphone till date for ASUS in flagship range m happy with dedicated support till date for 5z and still ongoing for more few months
But as a flagship owner want to tell ASUS that is 5z really worth to be called as flagship 👇
1.No vowifi
2.No prime hd
3.No ARCORE
4.No camera UI improvements even after Zenui 6
5.No dedicated nightmode for capable sensor in camera app
6.Touch panel stutters in games exists since Android 8 (which we and mods are still fighting to get fix from devs )
even after several requests since months from 5z users no hard push from ASUS for 5z users why? No requested features are seen
If thats fine not to give it to 5z owners than its ok
But to fill this huge gap can asus make us happy with surprising decision like more 6 months update cycle with implementations like atleast providing
*ZENUI 7 on Android 10 itself
OR
*Android 11/R on top of ZENUI 6 itslef
I wish atleast ASUS will reconsider our request and justice 5z as a flagship before ending up support to 5z

AbhinavWe (5z) users need this features badly and we know 5z can handle this features without worries so we still hope ASUS is reading and not given on all 5z users
Guys read this. If ZenUI 7 comes then maybe it'll be possible for us (5z users) too to have this feature.

Now someone from asus will come and say it's not possible but our phone can also do the same because our phone do have Schedule Charging feature and this battery saving feature can be implemented to 5z with ZenUI 7.
Asus please consider our request.

AbhinavWe need this feature to increase battery life span because 5z comes with 3300 mah battery which is very less as compared to other phones. So this is a very necessary feature.

5z users desperately want Zenui7.
I hope Asus will consider our request by giving us Zenui7.

That's passthrough charging, for it the phone requires a specific type of circuitry to bypass the battery (it's an mixture of software + hardware)

AveranI'm not talking about passthrough charging. I know it needs different circuitry.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/110127#Comment_110127

I'm saying charging limit. Like schedule charging slows down the charging. In the same way maybe our phone's (5z) circuitry has capability to stop charging let's say after 80% or 90%.
Zenfone 7 and ROG 3 has new type of pass through charging which shifts battery charging to direct AC power connection. Like my laptop and my JioFi can start without having Battery (by connecting the charging adaptor to the port) Those two devices can switch to Adapter power while resting the battery power. (I'm not talking about this too)

AbhinavAlso, there are root apps and magisk modules for this.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/110163#Comment_110163

Not sure, but seems possible via software.
