compared to any other major phone manufacturer out there, for me in particular it seems like a non-ideal decision to buy a zenfone based on this fact alone. I want to buy the zenfone 11 ultra but getting no more updates after 2 years is a major drawback.
Those of you who have zenfone phones, is asus kind enough to provide android updates after 2 years?

Agree with you, I have Poco, Redmi, Asus Max Pro M1, and now Upgraded to Zenfone 11 U, The one survived only Max Pro M1, but need to replace battery which no more original one (its fine).
Why choose Asus, from my exp those phone I mentioned above have been tested for daily driver, also some gaming but not photography enthusiasts, Overall I choose asus because it was great

Well if you had problems with your phone doesn't mean they all crap. I had 5 zenfones and 3 ROG's and never had any big problems with them....Samsung or apple they are not perfect either.

At least Samsung covers hardware repairs even your phone is out of warranty with good customer service, does ASUS have? I will never stop convincing people not to buy this crappy phones until they close their market! I don't want them to experience what frustrations I experienced!

After two years you won't get any android updates but you will get 4 years of security updates
