I have the Zenfone 11 Ultra, have had it since July and only until the last month have I started having a very peculiar problem, about half the time I try to call someone, my phone drops all service for ten seconds and reconnects the the network. I have T-mobile, and I hope that's not the problem.
But does anyone know if it's a Zenfone problem, a 5G problem, or a T-mobile problem?

I'got same problem in Orange Poland. I noticed this occur when VoLTE is not working - there is some problem with switch between 5G/LTE to 3G.
Thy forcing phone to activate VoLTE with USSD code (just type this in phone app)
1. *#*#3642623344#*#*
2. *#*#869434#*#*
3. *#*#86583#*#*
For my number 1 works but You can put all 3 one by one. Hope it's help.

this is a known issue, they refuse to address.
it was the same issue with the zenfone 10 as well.
Best you can do is disable 5g and wifi calling for a smoother experience, but then what's the point of buying the phone...

Never knew such issue until I saw your post. The last I used Asus was 6Z (Flip Camera), had really good experience with it, hence this phone. The phone is not bad per se but these small little things makes things really hard. I mean the number one priority should be phone call and internet. Also the placeement of earpiece toward little left is nuts - when I made the first phone call I was super angry because I couldnt hear properly.
