Very low volume in ear piece in ZP10

I have got a ZP10 last Feb, 24. I got this phone after seeing all the good reviews from tech channels.

Recently, I am experiencing very low volume in my ear piece. This is happening during call or if audio is played with speakers.

I've checked for debris but there was none. Last resort is checking resetting the phone to factory default. But before I do that wanted to reach out to the community if anyone else has this issue and if there's a fix for it.

I checked to see if my Bluetooth headset had the latest firmware, but it was already up to date. I checked the Bluetooth configuration, but there was nothing particularly strange. Thank you for your reply.
