I am daily driving the Zenfone 10 for almost 3 years now, and the last month or two I've noticed an abnormal performance and battery degradation - to the point it literally feels artificial.
I've been charging my phone to 90% for two years every two days (to a floor of probably 20% on the second day). Nowadays I do the same charging routine, but over a one day period. This has been happening for 3 months now, not sure why.
I've also noticed that games, namely in emulation (of games that I legaly own a copy of either physically or digitally), where I was getting flawless performance (it is a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 after all), I am now getting 5 to 10 frames per second.
Something is definitively off. I didn't installed any new apps, actually the opposite, I've uninstalled a few. I am always up to date with software updates.
Thanks

It's impossible that you've been using your smartphone for almost 3 years. It's not even 2 years old yet. It was released in the summer of 2023.

Well, good point, I was checking the receipt and I got it in September 2023.
But it doesn't makes the situation better, tbh.
Does anyone else relates to my original post? Or is it just me?

I don't recognize this on my Zenfone 10, I also own it since summer 2023. However I had to send it back 3 times already (broken usb port, broken sim tray and finally broken screen due to water damage, caused by a dent in the corner long time ago from falling). In this last repair it could be that the battery has been replaced but I'm not sure. So I cannot really compare your case with mine.
However, my previous Zenfone 8 had similar issues. I charged it to 80% for about a year, then I noticed battery life was a lot shorter so I started charging it to 90% and then 100% in the end to make it to the end of the day.
On my Zenfone 10 I charge it like half of the times to 80% (mostly overnight), but the other times I charge it to 100%, knowing that I stop charging once it reaches 100%. By doing that I only keep the level at 100% for a short time, which is not as bad for the battery as keeping it there for hours.
Probably more research needs to be done on this but I think it's not bad to go to 100% now and then instead of never going above 80%, to keep the battery "fit". I also think the charge limit overnight (80% for example) but then doing the last 20% in the morning is not the best for the battery.
