Hello,
I'm creating this thread because I am curious if it is possible to report, recreate and hopefully fix an issue with the ZenFone 10 via this forum. I'm asking that question, because I recently created a thread about, in my and some other users opinion, a serious issue with ZenFone 10 that exists apparently since ZenFone 8. Below you can find a link to the thread:
https://zentalk.asus.com/t5/zenfone-10/proximity-sensor-disables-during-call/td-p/389174
My doubts come from a fact, that after reporting the issue, when I received instructions for reproducing the issue from @Mansi_ASUS, since I delivered logs and a video showing the issue, I got no reaction, despite of pinging several times.
I decided to invest my time into this because I believe that if I will describe the issue well, provide video evidence and logs, I will increase the probability, that ASUS will be able to fix it. All those efforts are useless if people, who are the first line of support will ignore them.
Given the above I would like to ask whoever is responsible, to take a look at the thread and respond with some information about the next steps. I am open for helping ASUS with this however I can. I only expect communication in return, to know where I stand. Please take a look, whoever can do something about it.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi @Skwara ,
It looks like the latest firmware (https://zentalk.asus.com/t5/release-notes/231003-zenfone-10-ww-eu-33-0220-0220-75/ba-p/391477) fixes the issue, it states that "Fixed screen lighting up when during the call" which I suspect is the proximity sensor?

Whoa, you're right, after a quick test, the issue seems to be fixed. I am extremely positively surprised by how quickly Asus works. It's awesome.
