Is it possible for the laptop to gain charge without showing the charging icon?

battery report has some entries out of order when sorted by Time

already tried system restore/ OS reinstall.

and an hdmi cable is connected through a usb-c dock, how likely is it that hdmi cable can slowly charge the laptop without showing up in the battery usgae graph?

Could you kindly share the model name (for instance, UX8402ZE), OS version, and description of the scenario, as I requested within your prior post?

If you do not need to display the charging icon, please right-click on the blank space on the desktop > select "Personalize," > select "Taskbar and [Start] menu content," in the lower left corner, > select "Power" in the "System Icon."  The option to charge the battery can be unchecked.
