Parts availability

Dear,
In the middle of October, I requested if there was any parts availability for Asus Zenbooks. My request was specifically for things like the Battery or the Touchpad.
At the Time "Blake_Asus" answered that he would take it up with the department in question. Do you please have any feedback on this already?

There is no further information on this.
If the self repair/replacement is available, we would actively announce it.
I have to be honest that it is not coming soon.

Thank you for you fast response Blake_ASUS.
I guess I will have to draw my own conclusions from that and advise friends and family against buying Asus Laptops.
