How to remove bitlocker from my old internal drive C and now used as an external drive?

Detailed description：I have an external nvme drive which was my 1TB drive C bitlocked. I have it bitlocker and use it to unlock and access to my old data. I want to remove permanently this bitlocker. Anyone has an idea?

The device encryption is in turn off status.
But when I type in search bar for "Manage Bitlocker", the result is just to click for information from Microsoft.

Bit Locker is not available on Home versions of Windows. You need to get a Pro or higher version of Windows.

After unlocking the drive, I can access to my data without any issue.
