I bought a (supposedly) new Asus Zenbook flip on Amazon. It seems to be a nice laptop. But when I went to register it I got message saying "Product Registration Failed: Product is already registered". I wrote to Asus customer service and they asked for the invoice. But invoice sent by vendor did not contain serial number of the computer and so they said there was nothing they could do and I needed to talk to amazon. I spoke to amazon and they have asked the vendor to send proper invoice and guarantee paperwork. But nothing. So now I am in process of trying to return the laptop. It seems strange that Asus is seemingly unconcerned about what looks like fraud. Without the registration I cannot get the waranty and the promised software. Anyone had this problem and have any suggestions about what to do? I had a high opinion of Asus as a company before this experience. But am now seriously disappointed.
