I have an ASUS Zenbook (13") from 2017 that came with Windows 10. The hardware was not capable of being upgraded to Windows 11 so I bought a new notebook and planned to wipe this one clean by deleting everything and reinstalling Windows so I could pass it on to someone else or turn it into a recycler. I followed the instructions for doing that, but it seems the Windows 10 reinstall failed. It just keeps trying to start up, showing the ASUS logo, but never completing the boot up process. What can I do to get the Windows 10 reinstall to complete??

LexterJ,
Thank you very much. Your solution worked. The HDD was not damaged. I was able to create a Windows 10 bootable USB-stick on another PC and use it to re-install Windows 10 on the ASUS laptop. It worked perfectly.
