Product Registration Unsuccessful

Hello,
I have bought a Vivobook 1500EA and when I am trying to register the product, it is saying "Product registration unsuccessful". The reason saying is Invalid serial number. I tried by scanning the barcode & manually entering it to make sure there is no errors in the number but still I can't register it. How can I resolve this issue please.
