Hi,
I have a problem that ASUS-Brazil can't help me. First of all, I use Windows and Ubuntu, Windows is installed on my internal SSD, Ubuntu is installed on external SSD accessed thorough USB4 dock. Unfortunately I had a bright idea :'-( 😭 ... I updated my laptop BIOS to the latest BIOS version, 316, after that I can't access my OS on my USB4 Dock anymore, I can access using USB3.2, but I lose bandwidth compared to USB4. ASUS-Brazil can't help me, even doesn't have access to ASUS development team to tell them to investigate or to make an opinion or suggestion about that. I attached an image with my setup and the message error. Please, can anyone help me?

Upon confirmation, BIOS versions 301 to 316 for the M6500RC have not had any adjustments related to USB4 settings. The testing unit used ubuntu-24.04.1-desktop-amd64 with BIOS versions 300 to 316, and Ubuntu did not function properly with USB4 on any of these versions. Could you please let us know which version of Ubuntu you are using?

I have used Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (Focal Fossa) and Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish). But I updated the BIOS to the version 316, then I installed Ubuntu 24.04.1 (Noble Numbat) on the SSD(using internal m.2 connection). So, when a tried on the dock, it didn't work. I used this method many times before.

Here are our test results:
We tested different versions of Ubuntu with M6500RC BIOS 300-316.
Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (Focal Fossa) with BIOS 300-316 can boot into Ubuntu normally.
Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) with BIOS 300-316 cannot boot into Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 24.04.1 (Noble Numbat) with BIOS 300-316 cannot boot into Ubuntu.
We recommend you check if BIOS 316 with Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (Focal Fossa) can be used normally.
Thank you.
