Make sure to close all background apps from mobile manager.
Clear ram
Open whatsapp and then open any conversation
press back button.
You will notice moderate fps drop immediately after pressing back button.
Not sure if its only happening on my device or its a bug bcuz my overall a11 experience is so smooth.

Whatsapp fps drop
To me, this sounds normal. Unless someone disagrees, app is run at optimal performance when it is cached. When you clear RAM, the app has to go and fetch from storage. Fetching from RAM is much faster than from storage.

From your answer ig it occurs on your device too.
This time try doing it again except for the part of clearing ram or closing apps on random occasions.
it still happens no matter what i do. That kind of annoys me whenever that happens

It doesn't happen to me actually but based on what you said, that's what I think.
I tried again without clearing anything, it works perfectly fine.
Set WhatsApp to be not optimized, prevent it from being super cleaned in mobile manager and allow it to auto start. This is the settings I have for WhatsApp.
