This is a known issue but there aren't any resolution when this happened to samsung they pulled out the product. Asus should be ashamed for selling one of the most expensive device and does not even have the audacity to have a fix for known issues.

Phone shut down and will not turn on. Only good for 1 year?
Mine still working after a year and 3 months. You should take your phone to service centre.
