RoG phone 2 shut down without warning nor symptoms. And never turned on again. I find it kinda funny that asus would release such a scam right after the warranty period. And they will ask a service fee to check the item and now is charging me almost the same amount that I paid for to have it repaired. This type of scam is unacceptable. Knowing that this is a known issue and no actions whatsoever from them.
Is this to be expected of the ROG 3 too?

For shut down issue, you would need to go to service centre.
Do you have a ROG 2 or ROG 3? If latter, then you're in the wrong forum. Otherwise, for ROG 2, as above.
