I use my phone regularly at night. Eyes experience too much strain while using it because at zero brightness also phone is quite bright. Need a solution for this. Currently i am using third party app which applies a transparent black layer on screen which lowers the intensity of light.
That is a limitation of the phone. A suggestion that could help is to leave a low, warm light on in the room at the same time. The contrast shouldn't be so painful on your eyes if the room is even dimly lit.
