Image edit not working

Hello @Anders_ASUS I have tried various edit option like the beauty option to make smooth or changing facial colour but the effects are not making changes .If i press& hold to see how earlier the photo was & how now (after applying some filter) the result is no changes.

Have you tried restart your phone? You could try clearing the camera app storage in app info.

Sorry about the late reply. I must admit that the skin tone effect is very subtle and they way it works, will probably only show on someone with very white skin. This is why you don't see any difference.

I can say that on white skin the skin tone effect is actually quite strong for my taste.
