How do i clear recent in File Manager?

How do i clear recent in File Manager?

Delete the actual files of you want to remove it from the Recent category. Recent will just show you the last recent files added to the file system.
Otherwise, hide recent category to see nothing at all.

No i dont wanna delete actual files. I just want to clear the recent history and i dont wanna disable it either.
Any other solution? Or does file manager dont have that sort of ability yet?

Not what you are asking for because it sounds like your talking about histories of opened files.
Recent just shows you the files you recently created or downloaded.

If that was the case i wouldnt mind, but recent also displays the opened up files not just created or downloaded files.
I played few music from file manager and opened up few documents and now thats added to my recent tab.
Thats why i was asking if there is any way to clear recent without deleting actual files.
