LP_ASUSHi this actually looks bad and people that are battery conservative tend to keep their brightness at that percentage. This and the music option for the RGB lighting logo doesn't look good at all it's very random, i was trying to show it to my friend and it was very awkward because it didn't hit a single beat. If you could somehow get it's input to be from a low pass ,it could only pick up the bass. That's a start. But right now i cant show it off and it looks dumb hahahaha, please do something about the lighting.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/20972#Comment_20972
It's not a defect. This is just how the panel behaves at very low brightness. You can expect this kind of performance for the life of the device at very low brightness, but it will not "spread" or create different issues.
This a matter of taste and whether or not the low brightness tinting matters to you. I tend to use my phones around 60-80% brightness at all times, so I wouldn't have even been aware of this issue unless it was pointed out to me.

ct.rockstarr/GooglePixel - P4XL 30% brightness + Forced 90hz = Severe black crush, unusableSeems like an universal amoled issue which arises due to higher refresh ratesI just received the replacement. The red tint is still there but much less as compared to my previous device, so this confirms this is a panel behavior, which means if you are planning to replace the device it might be good or bad ie the new device might have less tint or more tint.
