ROG Phone 9 Pro Overheating

Whenever I play games like Genshin, WuWa, or Minecraft at 185 FPS, and more, my temperatures go up to 50°C. The room temperature isn't that high, and the only solution I've found is using a cooler. Are there any other solutions? I’d prefer not to use a cooler, as it's hard to use especially when playing competitive games.

I have a chill case , in my opinion it work depending on ur room temperature as it barely cool down ur phone. If u live in a hot country, better use cooler instead.

You can't recreate the issue because overheating is completely random and caused by a bad background optimization, depending also by how many apps you downloaded etc..

But since last update overheating is much more frequent and also in others forum many people started to complain about it, so it's pretty clear devs need to work on this for future updates

As I'm writing this comment the phone is pretty cold, but who knows, maybe soon it starts overheating for no reason 😉

So basically, you're saying that buying a gaming phone for its features is a waste of money because I can't even use its 185 Hz. These solutions are not helpful at all, because if I’m going to do all of that, then I might as well have just bought another brand. Disabling X Mode while gaming? That’s complete nonsense. I didn’t buy an ROG Phone 9 Pro just to use Dynamic Mode, it’s a freakin gaming phone, why on earth would I do that? The only real solution to thermal issues is buying a phone cooler, that’s it. It may not be comfortable to play for a long time with a cooler, but it’s still the solution.

Did U try use to Play Videogames with Rog Phone 9 Outside when is Winter! Is the Natural alternate an No need a cooler. I think good when ist -20 degrce. Dont forget a Bug thick Jacket or Turn in a fire. 

Or u buy the Aero cooler. I did use the cooler als Rog P. 1 and 5s you can feel the difference. Best Option for Player WHO Play some hours. 2 or 3 Matches No need cooler but better for your expensive Premium Phone.
