ROG Pelta on ROG Phone 9 Pro

So, I just got the ROG Pelta delivered today. Connection was nice and easy through bluetooth, as shown on the startup guide. My phone immediately installed a compatibility driver making Pelta available in AudioWizard. Sound is great, just not that much on bass when listening to music. Awesome ergonomics, lightweight that you can put it on your head for hours compared to earphones.

Anyway, to cut the long story short. I was too intrigued to get one as it is highlighted in ROG Phone 9 intro page. But I was fooled, you can only use its bluetooth connectivity. On USB port, audio is way too low at max level (you'll mostly hear everything from a youtube review played on a computer 😂), the SpeedNova 2.4 utilizes a USB dongle with audio levels similar to USB connection. Who would want a dongle on their phones anyway.

You will not be able to maximize Pelta settings through Armoury Crate on the phone, as it is not there (I was expecting that it would appear near the AeroActive Cooler X Pro). Settings and a lot more can only be accessed through Armoury Crate and Armoury Crate Gear on PC.

Below should have limited details about it being an "ideal match" as it is not helping a first time buyer of gaming headsets like me. 😆 I can't find a substantial indepth reviews about this Pelta in the internet, so I put a lot of trust on ROG Phone 9 Series introductory page. **Sad**

Honestly, I was expecting like its an ecosystem accessory. But no, I'm just naive.

If anyone have helpful comments, I'd say, "thanks in advance". :heart_suit:

First of all, I would like to express my condolences for what happened to you, but you are not the first to experience this feeling. In my personal experience, ROG headsets are probably the most compatible with Windows PCs. I also bought the ROG Cetra II headset to use with the ROG 9 ProThe headset can only enable lighting effects based on the Aero Active Cooler X Pro's settings, and the microphone volume cannot be adjusted. Similarly, the Armoury Crate app on Windows and the app available for download from the Play Store are also not available on mobile devices. It seems that Asus is focusing on non-Android gaming devices I have suggested it to Asus forums but they have ignored it. They are a good company that innovates as good as any tech company out there today, they just don't try to build on it and create a compatible ecosystem across all their devices So what you can do is 1. Don't expect anything more from them because their goal may be to just be happy with creating new innovations. 2. Wait and wait. 3. There may be other brands of headphones that are developed to make mobile gaming experience as good as PC But as far as I know, there isn't any From the same calamity
