Hi there peeps,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirit.
I am having both ROG 8 and ROG 9.
I upgrade to 9 because wanna to use back the ultrasonic sensor.
However, what on earth has Asus done to the ROG 9? The touch response delay is so much more severe and higher than the ROG 8?
We need this phone to play high fps and particularly touch sensitive densed game, it is now delaying like a complete non gaming phone.
Despite when you check with the touch sampling where it still can go up to 720hz, but it doesn't help with the touch delay response.
Even when i scroll and read through a webpage or Facebook, i can obviously feel the response comes few miliseconds sometime per second basis after my finger touches.
Dear developer or Asus RnD, is it just a screen problem where i can go replace at service centre? Or this problem can't be solved perpetually?
Your help will be highly appreciated.
Regards.

I have the same thing but not in the system but in the codm game it's nothing dizzying but I can see it there compared to rog 7 where the finger movement is approx. 0.7ms faster than the movement in the game, it wants to be fixed IMMEDIATELY, when you look at the profile of the scenario you give your own settings, and you go to the touch category, where you have sliders, there are errors, just the item movement accuracy, maybe it is a stumbling block and they will add it as part of the update, I point out again, IMMEDIATELY FIX!!!!!

Hi there, I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirit.
I played a game just now. Mlbb, the air trigger when i press it, the screen don't even response instantaneous but the response comes after few second or after few time time i press. The screen is seriously having this high touch latency. Can i seek a helping from team asus team to resolve this issue? I really appreciate it. Or I can just go service centre and request for a screen replacement?
This rog 9 screen is less brighter than rog 8 and comes along with this high screen touch latency issue. I wish if screen replacement can't help, I don't want to void my phone IP68 rating. Btw, i have set the screen touch sensitivity setting to the highest for all, including those sliding etc as well as set the touch sampling rate up to 720hz and turn on X mode all the while. Not only during a gameplay, even normal daily drive, the high touch latency is impacting the overall rog gaming phone user experience. Your help is highly appreciated.
Hi there, I hope this message finds you well.
I just played a game (MLBB), and I noticed a significant issue with the air triggers. When I press them, the screen doesn’t respond instantaneously. The response either comes after a few seconds or only after multiple presses. This high touch latency on the screen is concerning.
Can I request assistance from the ASUS team to resolve this issue? I’d greatly appreciate your help. Alternatively, should I visit a service center to request a screen replacement?
Additionally, I’ve noticed that the ROG 9 screen is less bright compared to the ROG 8 and suffers from this high touch latency issue. If a screen replacement won’t solve the problem, I’m hesitant to proceed as I don’t want to risk voiding my phone’s IP68 rating.
For your reference, I’ve already set the screen touch sensitivity to the highest levels, including sliding sensitivity, and enabled the 720Hz touch sampling rate. X Mode has also been turned on the entire time. However, the high touch latency is still affecting both gaming and daily use, diminishing the overall ROG gaming phone experience.
Your assistance in resolving this matter would be highly appreciated.
