ROG 9 Pro Fail to connect SONY earphone YY2982

Hi all, I have tried numerous times to use my ROG 9 to connect to my SONY Bluetooth earphones (YY2982) but to no avail. However, they work perfectly fine with my ROG 5. Any ideas why?

I have fixed the problem with my ROG 9 by installing the SONY Sound Connect app, which allows the ROG 9 to connect to my YY2982 properly.

However, I noticed a difference compared to the ROG 5. The YY2982 can be detected by the ROG 5 without installing the SONY Sound Connect app and works perfectly. My new ROG 9 Pro, on the other hand, couldn’t detect it without the app.

Glad you could fix the issue, but it's odd that the headphones could not be found, I have not been able to recreate the issue with other Sony headphones.

Got same problem with Soundcore headset connection to Rog 9 pro edition, even after installing Soundcore app, connecting and disconnecting constantly, so can't use them anymore

Sorted, go to developer option and change Bluetooth Audio Codec from LDAC to SBC, will work
