Ayee everyone I've been thinking on buying rog phone 8 as my secondary use.( I have rog 7 but its bulky for a pocket to fit , plus its a bit heavy having for everyday use )
Anyone here can give their experience and suggestion whether best to buy or not?
Plus I have few questions for those who own one :
1. How's the phone's stock firmware performance?
2. Really worth getting ultimate ones or just basic model?
3. How's the aero active X cooling going?
4. Is the main android version starts with "Android 13" or "Android 14"?
5. Any issue with it after 3 months?
6. How's the thermal after long hours of gaming ( 1 - 3 hours )
7. How's the battery life lasting ( idle , social browsing , music other than gaming )
8. Any bugs should i know about?
9. Danm this feels like making a checklist before buying a car x)
10. Or should I wait for upcoming models with Snap 888 gen 4th nor the Snap 9 Gen 1 ones

I can tell you that it is not a good option.

I've been asking user the same questions. Multiple have told me they have no encountered any glitches or game-breaking issues with the phones.
Most of the glitches people have found are the ones listed here in the forum, but they are more on a case to case basis.
To answer some questions, the battery life seems great. The only issue multiple people are complaining about is the triggers, it comes with android 14 out of the box, thermals seem to be in control aside from when you run benchmarks. The only difference between the Pro and normal is storage and the LED matrix in the back, so that will be up to you.

Thx for replying , so the least downside was the air trigger and android 14 beta. Well that's fine ,going to wait a few months before getting it thx again!

Air triggers are not the only downside. ROG Phone 8 WiFi is almost inoperative: https://zentalk.asus.com/t5/rog-phone-8/asus-rog-phone-8-wifi-problem/td-p/418545
