I’m currently using the ROG Phone 8 and I’ve encountered a problem with a game I downloaded from Google Play. The game consistently crashes right after launching, making it unplayable.
Here are some of the troubleshooting steps I’ve already tried, but none of them worked:
Cleared cache and data of both the game and Google Play services
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Restarted the device several times
Checked for system updates and game updates (everything is up to date)
Tried running the game in different performance modes
Unfortunately, the issue still persists.
My question is: would it be possible to install the game via an APK from trusted sites like ModHello.Net(outside of Google Play) as a workaround, or is there any recommended fix from ASUS for this kind of crash?
Any advice or official support would be greatly appreciated.
