ROG 8 pro back plate problem

I don't know if it's just my phone or also anyone has the same problem. The back plate of my phone is slightly opened up near the volume and power button. Im afraid my phone isn't water proof anymore. Please comment if you have the same problem and what did you do to resolve the problem, thank youuu

Just don't use the plastic case that comes with the phone it will slightly bend it due bad tolerances.
