Asus ROG 08 PRO

Hi,

l do have 2 issues with my Asus ROG 8 Pro.

1.First issue - software 

The problem is that wenn I go in a game the gaming mod is on and the internet will be switched off, my problem is that wenn l go out of the game the internet connection will not always be turned back on automatically.

The internet connection it will turn back on if l go in the phone menu go to application and turn off the game from there .

I think that's an issue from the gaming software ( gaming mod turn not always automatically off when you go out from the game).

2. Second issue - hardware 

The Oled display from the ROG 8 PR0 gets scratches very easily, comparing with the display from my old Asus ZenFone 5Z that after 6 Years has fast no scratches.

I also think that there is an incompatibility between the glass screen shield (that l have also ordered with the ROG 8 PRO and was in some days broken) and the OLED flexible display.

I think that the glass shield is not flexible enough and that's why it's had broken fast.

Also the phone case (delivered wit the ROG 8 PRO) it's made from a to rigid plastic that do not absorb shocks (the back display it's hat brocken only from a fall from 1m high), the silicone case from the old Zenphone was also better in absorbing shocks.

Because I like the performance of the Asus Products (laptop, pc , phone, watch and displays that I buyed and use from Asus), l hope you can also find a solution to the issues mentioned.

The rigid cases are not for protection, grip/looks. You shouldn't have expected any preventative damage with those if you looked at them obviously they won't save anything. Your settings w the internet game not on when exiting game. That's a straight you problem. Fix your settings or reset the phone and DONT tweak every setting. My rog phone 3,5,6 third party cases dropped sooooo many times never cracked once. Software only gripe is the current instability issue with camera and android 14 that every Asus rep neglects or ignores.

If you love your product that you spent Alot of money on. Pay for protection.

first off all, I didn't wait an answer from you (a user) but from the producer / representative himself .

I don't need a case that don't offer protection to my phone, l can hold my phone in hand with out a case. For my is important that if the phone fall down don't get damaged, and I think that the engineers from Asus have seen that the grip is not ok and have developed the hand controllers for the new ROG 9 Pro, and on top l don't know that it's on the market a case for protection for the ROG 8 Pro that can be put on the top off the rigid case that has only the "function" of better grip not protection and look (by the way the phone don't look better with the rigid case on.

So your grip/looks don't have a logic, and a case that don't offer protection only look and grip don't want nobody.

The next is that l was on the search of a case for all around protection (front and back protection case from silicon) in the meantime it was the accident with the phone an the broken back display.

I have seen that you didn't make a comment on the glass protector that has broken without any shock from what I have also send fotos to Asus. The reason ist that a rigid glass protector can not be compatible with an flexible display, one can change the form with out braking and the other one not.

You also didn't comment the fact that the display glass take very easy scratches wat is not the case of the old rigid display from my ZenFone 5z.

The fact that the internet will not reconnect automatically after you get out from the game sometime ist a bug from the armory crate not from my settings, otherwise it will make always the same problem.

I was satisfied with the performance of the Asus products in the passt, with the quality and the performance of the new Asus ROG 8 Pro l'm not quite satisfied, that's why la have written here.

I have already made the software update and the issue with be automatically reconnect to internet after getting out from a game it's no coming back at the moment.

In my last post l have written that l'm looking to buy an all-around protection case and a flexible screen protector because the glass protector and the rigid case to buy from Asus shop don't offer protection.

Thanks for the constructive ideas with the setting on the armory crate, in the armory crate I have only made the setting for performance in the game.
