I have an Asus Rog Phone 5, I it's figerprint, SIM lector and vibration suddenly stopped working one day. I brought it to a local repair shop.
At the repair shop I disabled every lock pattern, fingerprint, password or face unlock feature. You swiped up and the phone was unlocked.
Today I went to pick up my phone and the repair guy tells me that the phone is asking for a pattern, this pattern is not my previous pattern or any pattern I can remember that the phone has had.
All my pictures are stored on that phone and now I cannot access it. Is there any way to recover my password?
I put my phone on safe mode when I left my phone at the shop so I was wondering if there is any kind of default pattern or anything. To my knowledge he has opened the phone up and tinkered with it so maybe there is some sort of safety measure that puts a pattern on automatically? I'm clueless here I would really apreatiate any help.
