To fix the NFC issue on your ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, try these steps: Ensure NFC is enabled in Settings > Connected Devices > Connection Preferences > NFC. Remove any protective case, as it may interfere with the NFC antenna. Update the firmware to the latest version via Settings > System > System Updates. Boot into Safe Mode (long press Power key > tap and hold Power Off > OK) to check if third-party apps are causing the issue. If the problem persists, back up your data and perform a factory reset. If none of these work, contact ASUS Customer Support for further assistance or to arrange a repair, especially if under warranty. ❤️

I would say that is a fairly good troubleshooting.
But I can also recommend to always update your device to the latest firmware to get the newest fixes.

My Rog Phone 7 is now just a third device which stays all the time at home, so NFC source for me turned useless.
