AEROACTIVE COOLER X PRO NOT WORKING

My ROG Phone 9 can’t detect the AeroActive Cooler X Pro and it’s not working, but my phone still charges when the cooler is attached. Please fix this as soon as possible!

If you are experiencing this then I would advice contacting your closest ASUS Service Center as this is not a reported issue so far, this way the service team can look into your cooler and see if there is anything unusual going on.

As it turns out, due to cost-cutting or defects, the contacts on the fan tracks in the Type-C connector have a poor protective layer against oxidation and deposits, which causes constant failures.

Actually, here's the solution:

1. Take a medium-hard brush with tightly packed bristles. Dip it in a circuit board and chip cleaner. I personally use isopropyl alcohol (Isopropanol);
2. Using a brush dipped in a special circuit board and chip cleaner or a suitable alcohol, thoroughly clean the Type-C connector of the fan, which is inserted into the smartphone's port, inside and out (circled in red);
3. I could have stopped at the second step, but I decided to try isolating the Type-C fan connector from the air using a silicone cap. It seems to have helped; I haven't needed cleaning for six days now.

Not really mine just perfectly fine using yesterday but then at around 12am i was about to put in my cooler suddenly it said need to update something so i did what the system said then i try to reattach back that's where my cooler stop working something work something not work. So i would blame the system that's trying to update which didn't even tell what are they updated to make the cooler stop malfunction anymore
