twrp is not needed to root phones. but porting twrp to this phone shouldn't be too difficult to do since the source code is available. i just want to unlock my bootloader that's it, i've been waiting for way too long.
I switched to red magic. At least you can send the phone to the company and they unlock it for you. But they tell you theres no warranty. you have to pay a huge sum to get a special warranty from there service center. but at least you have bootloader unlocked
That's my red magic 9s pro, bootloader unlocked. I just use Asus 8 pro for normal calling or give to my cousin to use the triggers and cooler triggers to play there games.
