I am surely late to the party but wanted to bring this up because I'm hoping ASUS reads this.
If you have a ROG phone 6 Pro like me or any of the newer devices. You may have noticed they won't update more than 2 versions of Android OS. I am stuck at 14 while my older Samsung Z Flip 3 (which I went back to because of this), is on Android 15.
Now it's definitely not a hardware limitation. They did this in order to force you to buy a new product. They even took away the bootloader tool so you can't make custom ROMs.
This is pretty evil ASUS. I used to buy your PC hardware but now, no more. I'm out. You lost me as a customer. Surely you do not care one bit, or you would reply and do something.
My ROG is going into my old tech drawer. It's sad that they would do this. They took away our right to self-repair by doing this as well. I wish someone would pursue legal action, but it would be fruitless.
