HasneyHistoricly mediatek had much worse software. They upped their game tho, still, the biggest highlight for me is the ridicolously powerful ISP, honestly that thing should allow for absolutely insane processing for difficult lightning conditions.Outside of Asus phones, I'm very happy Qualcomm are being challenged in general. Mediatek have been pretty behind and more of a budget chip, but this seems actually huge? If they can keep battery life and heat OK on top, it could finally shake up the Android market.
There's software problems with Android as well for sure, but Qualcomm's chips have been the biggest issues for the longest time.
