So essentially, Asus ROG Phone 6 received a firmware update that destroys the camera, flashlight, fingerprint and ultimately the motherboard itself, to brick your phone less than 2 years after buying it, and it can't even updated to Android 15 to fix this bad firmware. Always more convinced that this is ROBBERY. Providing a firmware you KNOW it will destroy the customer's phone without giving the option to downgrade to the precedent firmware should be illegal. I will not stop this time. I'm consulting various government's customer offices here in Europe where we have rights and you will pay for this. #rogphone6

My phone is out of warranty. Also, there are reports from many people saying that sending their phones to the assistance was useless. It's a firmware problem and you know it. Changing the phone's camera module or even the motherboard just slows down the downward spiral.
When this ROG 6 will die, I will definitely change brand to Nubia. After owning a ROG 3, ROG 5, this ROG 6 and 2 Asus notebooks.
Because providing a broken firmware and not fixing it in over than 1 year is CRIMINAL.

I have checked the PM but if I'd wanted to have you to tell me "Send your phone to the nearest assistance point", I would had done it by myself. This is not an hardware problem but a firmware problem. GIVE US THE OPTION TO DOWNGRADE OR FIX IT VIA ANOTHER FIRMWARE. More than a year have passed since January 2024! This is totally unacceptable!
