I was facing the same problem when after the last update my hotspot and wifi stopped working...eventually the motherboard died. Luckily my ROG5 was under warranty so got it's motherboard replaced to fix the issue. Now everything works fine except the screenshot option. This is a wierd issue I see when I try to take a screenshot while my keyboard is open, I get a black screen in the screenshot.
