Review of the ROG Phone 5 Pro I honestly regret spending so much money on this phone. At first, it felt worth it — the performance was incredible, and the battery life blew me away. During the first couple of months, I only had to charge it once a day, and it easily lasted around 15 hours on a full charge. I’d lose maybe 1–3% battery per hour, which was amazing. But then, out of nowhere, everything changed. Around five months in, the battery suddenly started performing terribly. One day it was lasting 15 hours, and the next it barely made it to 6 or 7. Now I have to recharge it about three times a day just to get through normal use. I could live with that if it was just the battery, but now other issues keep popping up. The phone randomly stops recognizing my SIM card, forcing me to restart it daily, and even the vibration function has started acting up. Overall, it’s frustrating because the phone was fantastic at first, but it’s been a downhill experience since then. Definitely not worth the premium price in the long run.
