Hi. I recently updated my ROG 5 to the lastest firmware and have used for more than a week.
After the update my signal has been awful. I even have no signal in the city center standing outside.. it's really bad sometimes..
What I have tried to fix the problem
- Rebooting the device a few times
- Reset Wi-fi, mobile & bluetooth
- Taking out the sim card and used another sim
I didn't have this problem before I updated.
my last resort might to be factory reset then device.. backing up a lot of things...
anyone else with this problem?
can you downgrade the firmware?

ronald1985I found the problem, it's now fixed 🙂https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/54567/signal-messed-up-after-update-02-11-2021
You won't be able to downgrade the firmware version.
PLease go to calculator and type in .12345+= and do single test. Perform the sim signal test. Probably worth doing the SIM Card tests too.
Probably worth start by disabling connections and investigate from there. i.e. Disabling Wifi, Bluetooth completely.
The other thing is you can try safe mode and disable airplane to see if you get signal from there.
PLease try the above and let us know of the result.
