Charging only works on 1 ports

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help: charging phone from port isn't working but it works if I charge it on the side port

Forgot to mention it but my phone also randomly shows charging icon with the indicator turned on

The problem may be with the socket, or the plug, or a particular combination. It is all a matter of manufacturing tolerances and wear. It is just possible that your plug pins are too small, but it is more likely to be worn or damaged sockets that are the cause of the problem.
