Auto shutdown

So my rog phone 5s started shutting itself off at random intervals and won't charge or tune on untill it wants to. I'm reading that this is a a common issue. I am unfortunately already out of warranty. I'm only posting to ask if I should even bother trying to get it repaired or should I just cut my loses and get another phone?

Get another phone

Your repair cost is the same as brand new ROG 5s because you must replace your motherboard and there's no guarantee the same problem won't happen to you again

I had the same problem with the last update. I revert back to Android 11 and its staying good for now
